Designed to simplify pressure calibration, the fluke 323 combines a multimeter and a loop calibrator in one rugged handheld tool for instrumentation technicians. Based on the measurement capabilities of the trusted Fluke 87 digital multimeter, the 789 adds the ability to measure and source 4–20 mA signals and simulate dc loop currents with 1 microamp resolution and 0.05% accuracy. This makes it the ultimate troubleshooting and calibration tool for current loop applications.
Essential Electrical Testing: The Fluke 323 Clamp Meter
The 789 ProcessMeter includes a large dual display with enhanced backlight with 2 brightness settings, a 24-Volt loop power supply eliminating the need to take a separate power supply for offline transmitter testing and a built-in selectable 250 Ohm HART resistor that eliminates the need to carry a separate resistor with you. It also features a SpanCheck button to toggle between 4 and 20mA sourcing for a quick span check, 1200-ohm drive capability on mA source and an externally accessible fuse and battery for easy replacement.
The 789 is a maintenance and calibration tool that will find its home in every instrumentation technician’s tool box. It comes equipped with a temperature module and the wireless data logging capabilities of Fluke Connect mobile app with ShareLive video call (sold separately). The 789 ProcessMeter is powered by a rechargeable lithium ion battery that provides over 1000 hours of operation for continuous measurement or 15 minutes of logging. It meets 1000 volt CAT III and 600 volt CAT IV safety standards.
